Description

Bromazolam is a benzodiazepine derivative. It possesses anxiolytic (inhibits anxiety), anticonvulsant (also commonly known as antiepileptic drugs or as antiseizure drugs), sedative, and antidepressant properties.

Bromazolam is a benzodiazepine that is structurally related to flubromazolam, but differs from flubromazolam due to the absence of a fluorine in the 2-position on the phenyl ring. Bromazolam is structurally quite similar to pyrazolam, where the pyridinyl group has been replaced with a phenyl group.
